Minister Miller will host a reception in honour of Asian Heritage Month 2026
OTTAWA, ON, May 1, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture and Minister responsible for Official Languages, will host the official Government of Canada celebration for Asian Heritage Month on Tuesday.
This year's theme is Honouring Asian Canadians: Stories that Built Canada. It recognizes the important contributions Asian Canadian communities have made to Canada's social, cultural and economic life across generations, and affirms that their histories are a foundational part of Canada's story.
The evening will feature performances and inspiring speeches, honouring the achievements and outstanding contributions of Asian communities across Canada.
